What is stress?
Stress is a real and biological response to a perceived stress; something which we see as being too big, too much for us to cope with.
These materials explain the biology of stress so you can understand why you get a headache or feel sick when you are stressed.
I use a wide variety of psychological approaches to give you a tool box which you can explore to find out what works best for you.
Biological tools
Learn how to use your aches and pains to help you spot when you are stressed so you can do something about it. Work on what is stressing you and think about how to change it.
Cognitive Tools
There are some things we can't change, but we can change how we think about them which can make all the difference.
Mindfulness based approaches
Bring mind and body together in the moment, in order to find respite from stress and build healthy habits
