First Lecture

Stress is part of modern life. Euststress is useful to us as it gets us ready to perform and do out best. Dis-stress can also be helpful; the sudden stress we feel when a car pulls out on us at a junction, means that we react quickly to slam on our breaks to prevent a crash. However, long term dis-stress is damaging to our health, our functioning and our relationships so here are some videos and materials to help you be less stressed.

There are two sets of materials here; one for adults and one for children. You can use the videos for yourself or to show to other people (please credit me). You might also want to use the slides and put your own words to them. The ebook has a many practical tools for you to copy and share.

Stress is such a big part of modern life that it pays to have a whole range of tools to draw on to help relax and thrive. You can follow the videos in order or dip in and out. The powerpoints at the end bring it all together.
